Barbara J. Anderson, 84, Stevens Point, died Sunday, Feb.
26, 2017 at Willow Brooke Assisted Living in Stevens Point.

Services will be held in the spring.

Mrs. Anderson was born Oct. 13, 1932, in Chicago, Ill., a daughter
of the late Harold and Hazel (Maples) Beale.

She was married to Marvin Anderson Sept. 11, 1954, in
Chicago, Ill.

The couple settled in Chicago until moving to Stevens Point
in 1974.

In 1976, they moved to San Diego, Calif., until returning to
this area in 1988.

She worked in women’s fashion sales while in Chicago and in
city and county government while in California. During their time in Chicago,
the family spent time in the Crivitz and Lac du Flambeau areas.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Marvin; two
children, Dale (Connie) Anderson, Plover, and Judy (Paul) Smith, Woodstock, Conn.;
four grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one brother.
