Mary H. Dickerson, 90, town of Grant in Portage County, died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017, at Aspirus Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids.

Funeral services will be held at noon Tuesday, Feb. 28, at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, with the Rev. Dan DeRoche officiating.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11 a.m. Tuesday until the services.

Mrs. Dickerson was born Feb. 5, 1927, in Walworth, a daughter
of the late William and Mary (Van Dreser) Nichols.

She was married to Leonard M. Dickerson Sept. 18, 1948, at
the Brick Church Parsonage in Walworth. He died March 24, 2005.

She was a school bus driver for Safe-Way Bus Transit for 23
years, retiring in October 1996.

Survivors include six children, Rosemary (Frank) Prokopinski,
Spencer, Sondra (Rex) Galbreath, Shell Lake, William (Aleana) Dickerson,
Mauston, Robert Dickerson, Wisconsin Rapids, Sheryl (fiancé Stan Eversgerd)
Dickerson, Bartelso, Ill., and Bryan (Tiffany) Dickerson, Neosho; 14
grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one sister, Sarah Vida.
