Feb. 24
Intruder: A 28-year-old woman called police at 2:46 AM to report she suspected intruders in her Sherman St. home. Police found on evidence of that.
Facebook Threats: A 49-year-old woman called deputies to report a 33-year-old man was threatening her on social media t 2:57 PM.
OWI: Deputies arrested a 20-year-old man on the 7500 block of County Trunk Z in Custer at 3:29 AM for his first OWI offense.
OWI: Police arrested a 28-year-old man for his first OWI and unsafe lane deviation near Strongs Ave. and Park St. at 3:04 AM.
Young Offenders: Police were called when two children, ages 6 and 8, stole over $40 in merchandise from a gas station on the 200 block of W. Clark St. at 10:30 AM. The children stole the items without their mother’s knowledge, and police deemed them too young to fully comprehend their actions.
Harassment: A 31-year-old woman called police to report she was being harassed by a 44-year-old man on the 1000 block of Church St. at 2:22 AM.
Mothers & Daughters: A 38-year-old woman called police to report her 62-year-old mother wouldn’t let her remove her property from their shared home at 1:45 PM.
Bike Thief: A called from Ben Franklin Jr. High reported a $225 boys orange Huffy 21 speed bicycle was stolen from the school bike rack at 6:33 PM.
Egging: A couple living on the 400 block of Wilshire Blvd. reported at 10 PM that a 19-year-old man had egged their vehicle.
Feb. 25
Spicy Thief: A 32-year-old woman was arrested on a charge of retail theft for stealing about $30 worth of dried spices, including organic nutmeg, allspice and organic ginger, from a Christy St. grocery store in Amherst at 12:32 AM.
Feb. 26
Where’s the Fire? Emergency crews were called to a home on the 1900 block of North Second Dr. after a caller reported a fire at 3:08 PM. No fire was located.
Causin’ Trouble: Three man, ages 19 and 20, were stopped for suspicious behavior at 2:51 AM near Main and Third streets. One 20-year-old was cited for underage drinking and carrying a fake ID.
Trespassing: A 15-year-old boy was warned by police after trespassing on the Oak St. property of a 77-year-old woman at 6:26 PM.
