Sophia Olson, 91, Marshfield, a Stevens Point native, died Tuesday,
Feb. 28, 2017, at Atrium Post Acute Care in Marshfield.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March
4, at Sacred Heart Parish in Marshfield. Burial will take place at a later date
in the Riverside Cemetery in Iola.

Visitation will be at the church from 9 a.m. Saturday until
the Mass, with a rosary prayed at 10 a.m.

Mrs. Olson was born July 4, 1925, in Stevens Point, a daughter
the late Peter and Josephine (Roszak) Hoffman. She attended the Stevens Point school
system.

She was married to LaVerne Olson Sept. 3, 1942, at St. Peter
Church in Stevens Point. He died in 1993.

She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in
Marshfield.

Survivors include two children, Patricia (Don) Pflugradt and
Shirl Schultz; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one son, David; one son-in-law,
Thomas; all of her siblings; and her triplets.
