John C. Turner, 56, formerly of Wisconsin Rapids, of Stevens Point died late Monday evening Feb. 27, 2017 at his home.

John was born August 5, 1960 in Wisconsin Rapids. He was the son of the late Richard and Virginia (Johnson) Turner and Step Father William Beining. He attended schools in Wisconsin Rapids, graduating from Lincoln High School in 1979.

He married the former Marie Ann Crushinski on Sept. 23, 1989. She preceded him in death on Jan. 21, 2009.

John is survived by his two sons, Richard Turner of Stevens Point and Michael (Amy) Alf of New London, Wis. Three sisters; Kathy Roach of Saratoga, Wis., Pam (Lyle) Allison of Wisconsin Rapids and Lori (Russ) Miller of Saratoga, Wis. Further survived by two grandchildren, one niece and six nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Marie Ann and his parents and step father.

As per John’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private family memorial will take place at a later date. The Pisarski Funeral Home of Stevens Point is honored to be serving the family.
