Loretta M. Steinke

Loretta M. Steinke, 78, Stevens Point, died Wednesday March 1, 2017, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Milwaukee due to heart complications.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 7, at St. Bronislava Catholic Church in Plover. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church from 9 a.m. Tuesday until the Mass.
Donations are appreciated toward a memorial that will be
established at a later date.

Mrs. Steinke was born Feb. 23, 1939, in the town of Carson,
a daughter of the late Felix and Faustina (Peskie) Rajkowski. She attended
local schools and lived in Stevens Point all her life.
She was married to Robert Steinke June 22, 1968, at St.
Stanislaus Catholic Church.
She worked for many years in the food service industry at
St. Michael’s Hospital and Stevens Point Area School District until retiring in
2007.
She volunteered at Project Graduation and St. Bronislava
Church. At St. Bronislava Church, she helped out with the annual picnic, CCD
program, bingo and bake sales.
Survivors include her husband, Robert; one son, Brian
(Elena) Steinke, Schaumburg, Ill.; three brothers, Bernard (Linda) Rajkowski
and Raymond (Geri) Rajkowski, both of Stevens Point, and Felix (Diane)
Rajkowski, Combined Locks; one sister, Anna M. Hughes, Loves Park, Ill.; and one
granddaughter.
