Sylvester J. Pawelski
Sylvester J. Pawelski, 90, New Berlin, a town of Dewey
native and brother of a Stevens Point man, died Friday, March 3, 2017.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon Saturday,
March 11, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Congregation in Milwaukee. Private
interment will be held.
Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. Saturday until
the Mass.
Mr. Pawelski was born in the town of Dewey, a son of the
late Frank and Lillian (Jazdzewski) Pawelski.
He retired from American Motors (Chrysler) after a 30-year
career. He was a member of the United Auto Workers Local 75.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Eljane “Jane” Pawelski;
three children, Sharon (John) Valasek, Patricia (Patrick) Sylvester and James
(Sharleen) Pawelski; one sister, Cecelia Drewek, Milwaukee; one brother, Carl
Pawelski, Stevens Point; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
