Mid-State Waives Application Fees During March Madness Event

For the City Times
Recognizing spring as a time of renewal and new beginnings, Mid-State Technical College is making it easier to take steps toward future success by celebrating what college officials are calling Mid-State Madness.
During the entire month of March, an ideal time to begin the college application and enrollment process, Mid-State is waiving the $30 application fee.
“Mid-State Madness is a great time to take the next step to go to college,” said Kerry Froehlich-Mueller, dean of Enrollment Management at Mid-State. “The waived application fee allows those who have been thinking about coming to college a cost-free way to take this next step, and the timing couldn’t be better with both summer and fall classes available for viewing beginning on March 28 and registration opening on April 21.”
To apply to Mid-State, applicants are encouraged to visit www.mstc.edu/madness to learn more about the promotion and get started with the online application. Anyone needing help with the application can visit the main office of a Mid-State location in Adams, Marshfield, Stevens Point or Wisconsin Rapids.
Keeping with the theme of easy application, once students apply, the next step is an all-in-one registration session designed to ensure easy transition and student success.
