Tech Tutoring Offered at PoCo Libraries

City Times Staff
The Portage Co. Library has announced it is now offering one-on-one technology assistance.
The Portage County Public Library provides this service free of charge. Patrons can learn how to download an e-book, search library databases, use Microsoft Office and more.
“In a world of changing technology, it’s so nice to be able to ask our staff a question face-to face,” said Laura Fuller, branch librarian. “Whether you’re trying to use a library computer or figuring our your new tablet or smart phone, we want to help you.”
To book a session in Stevens Point, call the reference desk at 715-346-1548 to schedule an appointment.
Appointments can be made for up to one hour. Other branch libraries will also hold special Tech Time sessions in April.
Sessions are available at the Plover Library on April 4 at 2 PM, the Rosholt Library on April 11 at 2:30 PM, and the Almond Library at April 18 at 2:30 PM.
All library activities are free of charge and open to the public. Visit pocolibrary.org to learn more.
