Kimberly C. Magnum, 86

Kimberly C. Magnum, age 86, passed away on March 26, 2017 while residing at the Care Partners Assisted Living in Stevens Point, Wis.
Kim was born January 29, 1931 to the late Howard & Lulu McCarthy in Brighten, Mich. She attended the local schools and graduated high school.
She married Frank Dettloss. They raised a family and spent many enjoyable years together until later separating.
Early in life, Kim and Frank settled in California, and lived the California dream.
Besides raising a family, Kim worked various jobs. She was a book keeping clerk for an accountant, she worked as a counseling support staff for a teenager group home, and became a caretaker for those suffering with Alzheimer’s. Kim’s greatest achievement was her involvement in theatre. -She enjoyed performing in plays at the historic performing arts theater, The Pasadena Playhouse.
Kim will be remembered as having a free spirit, an eclectic imagination, and fashion sense. In her free time, Kim enjoyed studying theatre, traveling to musical clubs and festivals with her husband, and shopping. In her later years, she enjoyed the simple things life had to offer and playing cards.
She is survived by daughter, Pamela Sanders; son, Sunny Dettloss; son, Frank Dettloss Jr.; and daughter, Debbie Dettloss. She is further survived by grandson, Brian Sanders and numerous nieces and nephews.
