A reunion for the SPASH Class of 1972 — the first to graduate from the school — is scheduled for July, and the registration deadline is closing soon.

The two-night event begins Friday, July 28 with an informal get-together at the all-purpose lodge in Iverson Park. The night will include music and a meal of Sloppy Joe sandwiches, vegetables, snacks and beverages.

On Saturday, classmates will assemble at the Holiday Inn for a night of fun including a reception and program “sure to embarrass as many former Panthers as possible”, according to a press release from the reunion committee. A buffet dinner will be served, followed by live music from The Mighty Suspenders, who will play a variety of music from the ’60s and ’70s.

The cost for Friday night is $15 per person/$30 per couple; Saturday night is $55 per person/$110 per couple; and $70 per person/$140 per couple for both nights.

Classmates should register for the 45th reunion by April 15. Graduates planning to attend should mail their materials no later than April 15 to: SPASH Class of ’72 Reunion, c/o Dave Colby, E1084 Camp Rd., Waupaca, Wis. 54981. Make checks payable to: “SPASH Class of‘72 Reunion”’.
