Sam Hauser reflects on freshman season at Marquette

Former
Stevens Point Area
Senior High School
(SPASH) standout Sam Hauser capped his freshman season at NCAA Division 1
Marquette University with a trip to the NCAA Division 1 Tournament.
The 6-6 forward broke into the starting lineup in the fifth
game of the season for the Golden Eagles and never left, as he ended up leading
the team in minutes played and helped them reach the NCAA Tournament, where
they fell to eventual Final Four team South Carolina to have their season end
at 19-13.
“It went really well,” said Hauser of this season.
“Marquette is a special place and it has a rich history of basketball, and I
was happy that I could contribute a lot this year.”
