Aubrey Drohner set for final season at SPASH

After helping the program she’s grown up around win a State
Title last year, senior pitcher Aubrey Drohner is set to finish her Stevens Point
Area Senior High School (SPASH) softball career on a high note this season.
The daughter of SPASH softball head coach Tom Drohner,
Aubrey was the co-State Player of the Year last season, as the Panthers won
their eighth State Title under her father since 2001.
A three-time All-State selection, Aubrey signed a National
Letter of Intent last November to play softball at NCAA Division 1 Indiana
State University next season, and hopes to close out her high school career this
spring by leading the Panthers to the State Tournament in Madison for the third
time in four years.
“The time has flown by,” said Aubrey. “But we have six
seniors, and we really want to end it the way that the 11 seniors last year got
to end it, with the State Championship.
“So we’re going to push each other as hard as we can, and
see what we can do this year,” she said.
