Leonard L. Klasinski

Leonard “Len” “Oz” L. Klasinski, 66, Stevens Point, died
Monday, April 10, 2017, at his residence.
He was born March 31, 1951, in Chicago, Ill. He is the son
of the late Louis and Martha (Stiener) Klasinski. He graduated from Pacelli
High School in 1969.
Len entered the U.S. Army Sept. 4, 1970, in Stevens Point. He
received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with two
stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal and the meritorious unit citation. He was
honorably discharged on March 10, 1972, in Oakland, Calif.
He was employed at SIRCO Mfg. for 20 years and the U.S.
Postal Service for 22 years, retiring Dec. 22, 2006.
He enjoyed being a sound technician with many local bands,
riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, wood working, tattooing and really knew
how to party.
Survivors include one son, Luke (Amy) Klasinski, Madison;
one granddaughter, Téa Klasinski; a brother, Berny (Patti) Klasinski, Plover;
his fiancée, Jodi Jenkins, Stevens Point; and his best friend, Roy Maslowski,
Stevens Point.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Mark and Joel
Klasinski.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 15, at
the Pisarski Funeral Home at 703 Second St., Stevens Point. Visitation will be at
4 p.m. Friday, April 14, concluding with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m. at the
funeral home and from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services Saturday morning at
the funeral home. Burial with full military honors will take place at the Guardian
Angel Cemetery.

Len was a very loving and caring person. He will be greatly
missed by all his family and many friends.
