Yes, You’re Very Cool: Extra patrol was requested near Barbaras Ln. and East Maria Dr. because of a motorists doing doughnuts on the roadway at 8:34 AM.
April 10
No License: A 19-year-old man was cited for his second offense of driving without a valid license during a traffic stop near Division St. and Sixth Ave. at 6:42 AM.
Locked Out: A 55-year-old woman called police at 6:51 AM to report she’d been locked out of her home on the 2800 block of Minnesota Ave.
K-9: Staff at the Portage Co. Jail requested a K-9 conduct at sweep at the facility at 8:48 AM. The dog indicated on both the Huber and female cell blocks. No additional information was immediately available.
Wool Did They Go? An 82-year-old man from the 3800 block of Bobby’s Ln. called deputies at 4:59 PM to report several baby sheep were missing from his property.
Heapin’ Spoonful of Trouble: Deputies arrested a 24-year-old woman on charges of heroin and drug paraphernalia possession during a traffic stop on the 10000 block of Hwy 54 in Wis. Rapids at 5:28 PM.
Disorderly Conduct: Police responded to a home on the 1400 block of Torun Rd. at 12:49 PM in response to a fight involving a 25-year-old man and 34-year-old woman.
Assault & Robbery: An assault and robbery involving two 14-year-olds, one male and one female, at Ben Franklin Jr. High at 1:05 PM.
Pay Attention: Police cited a 22-year-old woman for inattentive driving following a two-vehicle crash near exit 158 on Hwy. 10 at 5:07 PM.
Disturbance X 2: Police were called to the same house on the 2900 block of Lindbergh Ave., once at 8:52 PM and again at 9:49 PM, for the report of a domestic disturbance involving two men, ages 50 and 55.
