SPASH boys basketball will hold camp this summer

The
three-time defending State Champion Stevens Point Area Senior High School
(SPASH) boys basketball program will host its Stevens Point Boys Basketball
Camp in June and July for boys entering grades K-9 for the 2017-18 school year.
Session
1 is a fundamentals camp that will be held June 12-15 at the SPASH Fieldhouse.
Session
2 is an offensive skills camp that will take place June 20 and 22 at SPASH, and
July 11, 13, 18 and 20 at Ben Franklin Junior High School.
Cost
of each session is $40, or $70 for both.
“It
is the goal of our camp to teach and coach the basic fundamental skills of
basketball, to increase the young athlete’s overall understanding of the game,
and to attempt to make each player a better athlete upon completion of our
camp,” said SPASH boys basketball head coach Scott Anderson. “Our staff will
work tirelessly to run the very best camp possible. We will be totally
committed to the progress of the players attending.”
