SPPD: Overnight Parking Relaxed for Trivia

Motorists will have an easier time avoiding parking tickets this weekend.
Under city ordinance, overnight parking is normally prohibited on city streets. But due to the upcoming 90FM Trivia contest being held this weekend, enforcement of the overtime night parking ordinance will be relaxed from Friday night through Sunday night.
Vehicles must still be legally parked and not impede traffic.
According to Stevens Point Sgt. Anthony Zblewski, enforcement of the ordinance will resume at 2: 30 AM on Tuesday, April 25.
