Winners of 29th annual Walleye Fishing Tournament
The Stevens Point Police Officers Organization held its 29th annual Walleye Fishing Tournament Saturday and Sunday, April 29 and 30, on the Wisconsin River. In the front row from left, Mike Gruber and Sam Woboril took first place with walleye weighing 15.2 pounds and Wayne Glodowski and Randy Gruber took second with 12 pounds. In the back row from left, Todd Havlinek and Tim Chisholm took third with 11.6 pounds and Brian DeByl and Mark Payne took fourth with 8.2 pounds. Forty-two, two-person teams registered for the event.
