Evelyn B. Berry

Evelyn B. Berry, 90, Buena Vista, passed away Saturday, May
6, 2017, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral Services for Evelyn “Tootie” will be held at 11 a.m.
Saturday, May 13, at the Shuda Plover Funeral Home – Plover. Pastor Jim Verkest
will officiate. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Saturday until the time of the
service at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Liberty Corners Cemetery.
Evelyn was born Aug. 2, 1926, in Lanark, the daughter of James
and Elsie (Yost-Krenn) Swan.
She graduated from Waupaca High School.
Evelyn married Lloyd Berry Jan. 27, 1945, at the United
Methodist Church in Plover.
After their marriage, the couple settled on the family farm.
Evelyn worked the farm with her family and still fed calves at the age of 85.
She liked cooking, baking, gardening, canning and feeding
anyone that visited the home. She also enjoyed reading, watching game shows and
going to the casino. She enjoyed playing a competitive game of Scrabble with
her daughter Brenda.
Most of all Evelyn loved being with her family and sharing
with her grandchildren their events, and attending all the sporting events they
participated in. She was an avid Brewers and Packers fan.
Evelyn is survived by four children, Janice (Ralph)
Turzinski, Almond, Nancy (Richard) Hocking, Rosholt, Brian (Donna) Berry,
Plover, Brenda West, Stevens Point; 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 11
great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lloyd,
in December 2015; her sister, Dorothy Christianson; her brother, Everett Swan;
two half-brothers, Bernhart and Arthur Krenn; and two half-sisters, Mabel Rauh
and Glendora Dulske.
