School Board Seeks Replacement for Gantz

City Times Staff
The Stevens Point School Board is now taking applications for a new board member.
Applications are open to any citizen in the school district who is 18 or older. All applications are due by May 25 at 4 PM, when they will be forwarded to the sitting board for consideration.
The appointee will serve until the 2018 spring election.
The vacancy was created by Dewey Gantz, himself an appointee who resigned from the board earlier this month.
Anyone interested can pick up a hard copy of the application and a Declaration of Candidacy from Bliss Educational Services Center, 1900 Polk St., or downloaded from the district’s website at www.pointschools.net.
For questions, please contact the Superintendent’s Office at 715-345-5444.
