Shredding Party Scheduled for Thursday

For the City Times
Schulfer & Associates, LLC is hosting its seventh annual shredding party on May 11.
Open to the entire community, the goal of the party is to provide a secure spot for local residents to shred sensitive information, to include old tax records and banking records.
The confidential shredding services will be provided by Express Recycling Solutions, Inc. Donations are welcome.
The event will feature live music from the Pacelli Catholic High School Band from 4 PM to 5:30 PM. Food, including shredded turkey sandwiches and coleslaw to keep with the party’s “shredding” theme, will be available onsite for purchase. To go plates will be available.
All proceeds from the event will be directed towards the Early Childhood Center, which is relocating to the St. Stanislaus school building for the 2017-2018 school year.
“Our goal is to raise $2,500 for purchasing new playground equipment, including sandboxes and swing sets,” the press release reads in part.
To RSVP, or for more information, call (715) 343-9600, go to www.schulferandassociates.com, or by email to schulferanda[email protected] for a free “What to Shred/What to Keep” guide.
The event has raised over $14,000 during the past six years, money that is used for technology upgrades in local Catholic schools. The funding has also been used to purchase of a new security system for the front entrance at Pacelli, funding of the Singapore math program, robotics kits for the middle school students, and new lockers for the Pacelli Band.
