Pacelli baseball team remains in hunt for CWC-8 Title

Despite
the loss of an experienced group from a year ago, the Pacelli Catholic High
School baseball team has remained in contention for the Central Wisconsin
Conference-8 (CWC-8) Title this season.
The
Cardinals lost five starters from last year, when they finished 26-3 overall
and advanced to the WIAA Division 3 Sectional Semifinals.
This
spring, Pacelli enters the final week of the regular season tied with Wittenberg-Birnamwood
atop the CWC-8 standings, while the Cardinals improved to 16-6 overall with a
10-0 win in five innings over Division 4 third-ranked Almond-Bancroft (17-2) at
Bukolt Park Tuesday, May 16.
