Piotrowski — known to other officers simply as “PP” — retired from SPPD in January after 27 years with the department.
He took the part-time job at SPASH, he said, to “avoid being bored” and to bring in some extra pocket money for an upcoming trip he’s taking with his wife.
“There are a lot worse ways to be spending your time,” Piotrowski said of the job.
