James Henry Lepak, 81

James Henry Lepak, age 81, of Stevens Point, died May 20, 2017 at the Portage County Health Care Center, surrounded by his loving family.
A Mass of Christian Burial for James will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday May 24, 2017 at Holy Spirit Parish (St. Stanislaus Catholic Church). Burial will be in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Friends and family will gather to share memories from 9 AM Wednesday until the time of service at the church. Shuda Funeral service is honored to serve the family.
James was born May 2, 1936 in Custer, the son of Henry and Wilhemina (Cisewski) Lepak. He graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1954.
James married June Wrage on June 7, 1958 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Stevens Point, the couple settled in Stevens Point.
James worked at Preway in Wisconsin Rapids, before moving his family to Kenosha in 1962. He began working at American Motors in Kenosha. The family moved to Milwaukee in 1963 and James worked at the Globe Union in Milwaukee.
The family returned to the Stevens Point area in 1993. He enjoyed his children and grandchildren, family gatherings, and visits with his brother and sister-in-law. James spent the past 3 1/2 years at the Portage County Health Care Center, he enjoyed living there and enjoyed all the activities. His family wishes to thank the entire staff for their love, care, and friendship.
James is survived by his wife June and their four children; Sandra Lepak-Szejna, West Milwaukee; Theodore (Carol) Lepak, Sheboygan; John (Renee’) Lepak, New Berlin; Mary (Scott) Radke, Charlestown, Ind. He is also survived by his brother, Lawrence (Judy) Lepak, Plover and his sister, Barbara (Dale) Borski, Franklin; 13 grandchildren and two great-granddaughters, many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
James is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Deborah, son-in-law Eric Szejna, step grandson Andrew Szejna.
