May 19

OWI: A 23-year-old woman was arrested for her first OWI following a 1:30 AM traffic stop at Clark St. and Illinois Ave.

If You Can’t Follow the Rules….Police arrested a 26-year-old man from the Salvation Army Hope Center at 11:15 PM on charges of probation violation and unlawful use of phone/threaten harm.

Crash: Deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash near McDill Ave. and Post Rd. at 9:56 AM. No injuries were reported.

Property Line Dispute: Deputies responded to a home on the 1500 block of Torun Rd. at 6:43 PM after a caller there reported a property line dispute between neighbors.

You Can’t Come In: A 45-year-old woman called deputies at 6:41 PM to report a 45-year-old man entered a bar on the 1500 block of North Second Dr. after he’d previously been banned from entry.

Paintball Bandit Strikes Again: A female caller from the 700 block of Bukolt Ave. called police at 5:44 PM to report her home had been struck with paint balls for the second time in one weekend. No major damage was reported.

Ladies of the Evening? Police were called to the Baymont Inn, 247 Division St. North, at 9:54 PM after a caller reported suspected prostitution involving two women, 23 and 29, and a 42-year-old man.

Student Assault: A 30-year-old woman called police to report her seven-year-old daughter was choked the previous day at a school on the 600 block of Maria Dr.

Harassment: Police responded to the 1100 block of Prentice St. after a 21-year-old woman there reported being harassed at 11:24 AM.

Disorderly ‘Tweens: Police responded to a 1600 block of West River Dr. at 2:18 PM after a caller reported a disorderly 12-year-old boy; another incident with a different 12-year-old boy occurred on the 2400 block of Main St. at 2:46 PM.

Disorderly Child: Police were called to a school on the 600 block of Maria Dr. after someone reported a 9-year-old was causing a disturbance there at 4 PM.

Attempted Break-in: A 29-year-old man called police at 8:30 AM to report damage to a window screen of his bedroom on the 2600 block of Bush Ct. Police say it appeared someone tried to break into the home.

Operating After Suspension: A 19-year-old woman was cited for operating after suspension during a 9:15 PM traffic stop near Main and Phillips streets.

May 20

Cows Gone Wild: Someone called deputies at 10:16 PM to report several cows got loose on the 8500 block of Old Highway 18.

OWI: A 23-year-old man was arrested on charged of OWI, first offense, and cited for operating without insurance and failure to yield during a 12:54 AM traffic stop at Franklin and Second streets.

Damaged Vehicle: A 40-year-old woman reported to police at 9:45 AM that someone caused about $200 to her vehicle as it was parked on the 3200 block of Prais St.

Busted: A 25-year-old man was arrested after violating conditions of his bond by having a pot pipe with marijuana residue in his possession on the 200 block of West Clark St. at 8:21 PM.

Attempted Break-in: Police responded to a home on the 900 block of Portage St. at 9 PM after a caller reported an unknown person damaged a front entry door and window while trying to gain entry. When police arrived they found an empty can of Hamm’s beer, an empty can of Pabst Blue Ribbon beer and the busted window, valued at $400.

A Return to Bush Court: Officers were called to the 3500 block of Bush Ct. at 10 PM after a caller there reported an incident of harassment.

May 21

Drunken Biter: A 27-year-old woman was arrested for battery and domestic abuse on the 600 block of John’s Dr. at 12:29 AM. Police documents show the woman came home intoxicated and caused a disturbance, biting a 30-year-old man on the arm.

OWI: A 51-year-old woman was arrested for OWI after she failed to stop for a stop sign at 1:50 AM near Water and Brawley streets.

Unruly at Church: Police were called to a church on the 4000 block of County Trunk HH at 11 AM to assist with an out-of-control 13-year-old boy at Sunday school.

Battery: A 32-year-old man and 34-year-old woman were arrested following a domestic incident on the 2800 block of Minnesota Ave. at 3 AM.

Will He Ever Learn? Police stopped a 28-year-old man near Stanley St. and I-39, and later cited the man for his fourth offense in three years of driving without a license.
