Betty L. Stump, 74, Plover, passed away Monday morning, June
5, 2017, at her home surrounded by her family, and under the care of Ministry
Home Hospice.

Celebration of Life services for Betty will be held at 4
p.m. Friday, June 9, at the Plover – Shuda Funeral Home. Visitation will be from
3 p.m. to the time of services Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in
the Plover Cemetery.

Betty was born Jan. 13, 1943, in Stevens Point, the daughter
of Frank and Hattie (Kickland) Sterling.

She attended schools in Plover and graduated from P.J.
Jacobs High School in 1961.

She married Edward Stump March 3, 1962, at Plover Methodist
Church. The couple moved to California for five years. They returned to the
area in 1969 and lived at the present address since that time.

She worked at Ore-Ida for a number of years.

She enjoyed crocheting and making baby afghans, baking (she
made the best pie crusts!), square dancing, pinochle with family and friends
and cookouts with neighbors.

She is survived by her two children, Brad Stump, Stevens
Point, and Debbie Jones, Hortonville; and granddaughter, Cathy Jones.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, George
Sterling, Bill Sterling, Glen Sterling, Bob Sterling, Ruth Ann Sterling and Mary
Gavin.
