Edward Molski

Edward “Red” Molski, 87, of Stevens Point, passed away
Monday morning, June 5, 2017, at the Portage County Health Care Center while
under the care of Ministry Ascension Hospice Services.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday,
June 9, 2017, at Holy Spirit (St. Stanislaus) Parish. Rev. Thomas Lindner will
officiate. Friends and family will gather to share memories from 9:30 a.m. to
the time of services at the church on Friday. Burial will be in the Guardian
Angel Cemetery with full Military Honors. Shuda Funeral Service is assisting
the family.
Red was born May 1, 1930, the son of Leo and Florence
(Gojtowski) Molski. He attended St. Peter and St. Stanislaus grade schools, and
P.J. Jacobs High School. Red served his country in the United States Marine
Corp. He was discharged in 1948 as a private first class, and earned the Good
Conduct Medal.
After serving his country he returned to the area and began
operating Molski Plastering, which he ran later with his sons until his
retirement in 1991.
Red married Marge Malick Aug. 2, 1952, at St. Stanislaus
Catholic Church.
Red enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren,
family pets, refinishing antiques and going to the family cottage in Tomahawk,
which he built with his sons in 1976.
He is survived by Marge and their five children, Gary
Molski, Kellner, Rob (Lisa) Molski, Stevens Point, Michael Molski, Tomahawk, Christine
Molski Pelo, Stevens Point, and James (Beth) Molski, Stevens Point; nine
grandchildren, David (Natalie) Stroik, Hilary Molski, Mica Molski, Cale Molski,
Brad Pelo, Caleb Pelo, Nick Molski, Pat Molski and Sam Molski; and four
great-grandchildren, Gage, Gaven, Jayda and Logan Stroik.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant son.
Red’s family wishes to thank St. Michael’s Hospital, the Portage
County Health Care Center and Ministry Hospice for all the care that he
received.
