Sexual Assault: A 32-year-old man was arrested on a charge of sexual assault from a County Tk. K North residence at 4:05 PM.

Underage Party? Deputies were called to a home on the 6900 block of County Tk. D at 9:21 PM after a caller reported an underage party. Deputies found no evidence of alcohol being consumed.

OWI: Police arrested a 49-year-old man for charges of OWI and failure to stop near Fourth Ave. and Second St. at 1:01 AM.

Stolen Sign: A 54-year-old man called police to report someone had stolen at Humane Society sign from his yard on the 300 block of Fourth Ave. at 7:58 AM.

Trespassing: An 18-year-old man was warned for trespassing on the 2700 block of Frontenac Ave. at 10:14 PM.

Busted for Pot: Police arrested a 28-year-old man following a traffic stop at Maria Dr. and Vincent Ct. for possession of THC and drug paraphernalia at 1:15 PM. The man was also charged with possession of narcotics after police found him carrying Hydrocodone.

Crash: An 18-year-old man was cited for divination from designation lane, operating without insurance and non-registration of vehicle following a two-vehicle crash near Michigan Ave. and Clark St. at 4:52 PM.

Shopko Thief: A 23-year-old man was cited for retail theft after attempting to steal a package of Jack Links beef jerky, a box of Cheez Its, a package of Folgers French Vanilla coffee, a bag of Sour Patch Kids and two 20-ounce bottles of soda from Shopko on Main St. at 5:01 PM. Value of the theft was just over $20.

OWI: A 26-year-old man was arrested for his first OWI offense near Strongs Ave. and Clark St. at 7:21 PM. He was also cited for driving after suspension.

Theft: A 47-year-old man reported someone stolen a $30 backpack, various papers and clothing items from his campsite on the 1200 block of Northpoint Dr. at 6 PM.

June 10

Suspicious Activity: A caller from the 1500 block of North Second Dr. called police at 3:50 AM to report suspicious people outside the building.

Underage and Busted: Deputies cited several young people, ages 18 and 20, for underage drinking at a home on the 1900 block of North Ln. in Custer at 10:54 PM.

One Royal Nerve: A 39-year-old man was arrested for stealing a $60 bottle of apple-flavored Crown Royal Whiskey from Copps Market on Pinecrest Ave. at 11:13 AM. The theft was captured on surveillance video. 

OWI: A 58-year-old man was taken into custody for OWI after a traffic stop near Clark and Ellis streets at 3:46 PM.

Dealership Theft: Police arrested a 22-year-old man for allegedly stealing a 2008 BMW convertible from Flatoff’s Goldkey Motors at 5:15 PM. 

Teens Pot Party: Police cited several minors, ages 16 and 17, for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia on the 3400 block of Minnesota Ave. at 10:38 PM. 

June 11

In the Park After Dark: Four men, ages 18, 19, 21 and 22, received a verbal warning from deputies for being inside Lower Whiting Park at 1:33 AM.

Domestic: A 28-year-old man was arrested on charges of battery and strangulation following an incident on the 5900 block of Birch Dr. at 10:29 PM.

Domestic: Police were called to a residence on the 5600 block of Hwy 10 E. after a caller there reported a disturbance between a woman and her 13-year-old daughter at 11:36 AM.

Trespassing: Two girls and two boys, all 13, were warned for trespassing  at a residence on the 400 block of W. Cornell Ave. at 8:28 PM.
