Municipalities Announce Yard Waste Drop-off, Pickup Services
Stevens Point
Until further notice, the city’s yard waste drop-off at 100 Sixth Ave. will be open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7 AM to 3 PM, and Tuesday and Thursday from 7 AM to 7 PM.
Plover
Special curbside pickup will be offered on Wed., June 21 from 7:30 AM to 3 PM.
Park Ridge
At press, the village has yet to announce what accommodations will be available for residents.
Whiting
Residents can drop off yard waste at the village’s compost site during extended hours through Sat., June 24. Hours are 8 AM to 3 PM Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; 8 AM to 5 PM on Wednesday and 10 AM to 2 PM on Saturday. The site is located on the south end of Strange St., next to the village’s water treatment plant.
Hull
Special branch pickup is available Thursday June 22. Branches must be piled in one direction with butt-end toward the road; branches must be placed at least 15 feet from mailbox, sign or trees; branches can be no longer than 12 feet in length; no tree stumps or tree roots will be picked up.
