June 15

OWI: A traffic stop at 2:13 AM on the 1100 block of Park St. in Stevens Point led to a 41-year-old woman being charged with her first OWI.

Drinkin’ Again: Police were called to the 1200 block of West Jackson Street at 2:56 AM where they investigated a 15-year-old male for underage drinking.

Counterfeit Cash: A counterfeit $5 bill was reported received by the Kwik Trip store at 5339 Harding Ave. in Plover at 6:07 AM. No suspects known.

Wrong Way to Jail: A 26-year-old Stevens Point man was arrested for felony bail jumping and charged with operating without a license and driving against traffic on a one way street after being stopped on the corner of Division and Clark St. at 10:36 AM.

Sibling Spat: A 38-year-old woman contacted law enforcement at 11:29 AM to report she wanted her roommate and 27-year-old brother removed from their home.

Gas and Gone: A 24-year-old Stevens Point woman called police at noon to report that half a tank of gas and her vehicle’s gas cap had been stolen while parked at the 2600 block of Indiana Ave.

Restraining Order: Police were called to the 300 block of Cty. Rd. KK at 7:37 PM after a 48-year-old Amherst woman reported a 49-year-old male had violated a restraining order she’d taken out against him.

June 16

2nd OWI: A 38-year-old Stevens Point man was cited with his 2nd OWI and operating left of the center line at the intersection of Michigan Ave. and Maria Dr. at 2:04 AM.

Speakers and Spot: Police were called to the home of a 30-year-old Stevens Point man on the 2000 block of McCulloch Street at 7:59 AM to investigate complaints of a vicious dog and loud music. No citations were issued.

Theft: A 23-year-old Stevens Point woman called police at 2:24 PM to report her Target Red Card has been stolen along with her concealed carry permit.

Car Vs. Deer: Police were called at 6:26 PM by a 64-year-old Custer man who reported he had hit a deer at the intersection of Cty. Rd. KK and Hwy. 66.

Crash: Police responded to the intersection of I39 and Hwy. 10 in Stevens Point after a two vehicle crash between a 17-year-old female and 58-year-old male driver at 6:51 PM.

Warrant Arrest: Two suspects, a 35-year-old Custer man and 34-year-old Rosholt woman, were arrested on an outstanding warrant at 7:09 PM on the 100 block of Main St. N in Rosholt.

June 17

2nd OWI: A 41-year-old Wisconsin Rapids man was arrested for his second OWI at the intersection of Briggs St. and Division St. at 1:48 AM.

Bite of the Dog: Police were called to the 1200 block of Torun Rd. in Stevens Point after a 54-year-old woman reported being bit by a dog.

Mailbox Fatality: A 31-year-old Stevens Point woman called police at 11:22 AM to report her mailbox had been damaged on the corner of Main St. and Second St.

Counterfeit Cash: A counterfeit $20 bill was reported to have been passed at the Covantage Credit Union branch on the 1200 block of Badger Ave. at 11:59 AM.

Hit-and-Run: Police were called at 2:56 PM by a 75-year-old Plover woman who reported being victim of a hit-and-run accident on the 500 block of First St. in Stevens Point.

Theft: A 23-year-old Wisconsin Rapids man was cited for retail theft after being reported stealing from a business on the 3200 block of Church St. in Stevens Point at 3:51 PM.

Crash: Police responded to a two-vehicle crash between a 34-year-old Stevens Point woman and 28-year-old Custer woman at 4:09 PM at the intersection of Washington Ave. and Second St. in Stevens Point.

Resistance and Disturbance: A 38-year-old Stevens Point woman was cited for disorderly conduct and resisting or obstructing an officer after police responded to a disturbance on 3200 block of Echo Dells Ave. at 10:19 PM.

June 18

Sunday Bloody Sunday: Police responded to reports of a 26-year-old Stevens Point man walking along Post Rd. with a bloody leg at 8:42 AM. The man was given a ride home.

Crash: A two vehicle crash between a 43-year-old Sobieski man and 38-year-old Shullsburg woman was reported at 11:55 AM on the 1000 block of Amber Ave. in Stevens Point.

Suspicious Snapper: A 45-year-old Almond man contacted authorities at 7:44 PM to report a suspicious man with a camera in the woods near Cty. Rd. GG and Wolfe Lake Rd. in Almond. No suspect was reported.
