Molly L. Newby, age 79, of Plover, died June 19, 2017.

Molly was born February 15, 1938 to the late Ludwig & Mildred (Ehlke) Kutz in Wausau, Wis. She attended the local schools before moving with her family to Milwaukee.

She married Melvin Newby on August 2, 1969 in Milwaukee. They moved to the Plover Area following.

Molly worked as a touch-up artist for a photographer, but decided to dedicate her life to her children when they were born.

Molly will be remembered for her colorful nature; whether it be showing her artistic side with drawing, gardening, or just decorating the house for Christmas. She relished spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed reading and collecting National Geographic magazines.

She is survived by her husband, Melvin of Plover; sons, John (Lydia) Newby of Plainfield and Dale (Sasha Krupnow) Newby of Madison; and grandchildren, Alex, Janelle, & Kayla.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Joyce Newby.

A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Boston Funeral Home with Rev. Howard Kruize presiding. Visitation will precede the funeral from 9:00 a.m. until time of the service at the funeral home.

Even though Molly will be missed by her family, she is now together again with her daughter, Joyce.
