SPASH, Pacelli softball players earn All-State honors

A week after advancing to
the WIAA State Tournament, the Stevens Point Area Senior High School (SPASH)
and Pacelli Catholic High School softball teams both landed multiple players on
the Wisconsin Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association (WFSCA) All-State Team.
SPASH senior
pitcher/shortstop Aubrey Drohner and junior center fielder Ally Miklesh were
named First Team All-State for the Large Schools, which is comprised of players
from Division 1 and Division 2 teams, while senior SPASH second
baseman/shortstop Brittney Flugaur was Honorable Mention All-State.
Pacelli junior catcher
Paige Hintz was named First Team All-State and Pacelli senior first baseman
Christonna Shafranski was Second Team All-State for the Small Schools, which is
comprised of players from Divisions 3, 4 and 5 schools.
