June 21

Lovers’ Spat: Police were called to the 3300 block of Patch St. at 12:30 AM after receiving reports of a verbal disturbance between a 35-year-old Stevens Point man and his 34-year-old girlfriend.

Water Park Walker: Deputies were called to check on a 43-year-old Mazomanie man who was walking south on I39 near the Hwy. 66 exit at 12:13 AM. The man reported he was walking to the Wisconsin Dells. Deputies gave the man a ride to the Plainfield truck stop.

Crash: A two-vehicle crash between a 50-year-old Stevens Point woman and 56-year-old Custer man was reported at 3:30 PM at the intersection of Hwy. 10 and Cty. Rd. J. Only minor damage and no injuries were reported.

No License to Drive: A 22-year-old Plover man was arrested for misdemeanor bail jumping and cited for his third offense of operating without a license after a traffic stop on the 3500 block of Stanley St. in Stevens Point at 11:42 PM.

June 22

OWI: A 23-year-old Stevens Point man was cited for his first OWI and non-registration of his vehicle after being pulled over by police at the intersection of Clark St. and Chase St. at 12:57 AM.

Slow Down: Two 19-year-old women were pulled over by police and warned for speeding on Hwy. 10 near Brilowski Rd. at 1:25 AM. No citations were issued.

Keep It Quiet: A 58-year-old Tigerton man was pulled over and warned for loud exhaust on Hwy 66 near Cty. Rd. Y in Stevens Point at 2:12 AM.
