June 23

OWI: A traffic stop on the 1000 block of Hwy. 66 at 12:21 AM led to a 29-year-old Stevens Point woman being cited for speeding and her first OWI.

Young And In Jail: A 20-year-old Stevens Point woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant and for misdemeanor bail jumping and cited for underage drinking at 12:28 AM on the 600 block of Main St. A 23-year-old Stevens Point man was arrested for bail jumping at the same time as the two suspects were under bond conditions to not contact each other.

Crash: A 53-year-old Minnesota man was cited for unsafe lane deviation following a two-vehicle crash with a 22-year-old Junction City man at the intersection of Hwy. 10 and Brilowski Rd. in Stevens Point at 7:35 AM.

Harassment: Officers responded to the 1700 block of River View Ave. in Stevens Point at 11:58 AM where they arrested a 51-year-old male after receiving a complaint of his harassing a 46-year-old woman.

Contractor Complications: A 31-year-old Stevens Point man called police at 3:19 PM to complain about a contractor who showed up to his home on the 1700 block of Boyington Ave. a week early and was causing problems. No citations or solutions were noted.

Pfiffner Park Pavilion Pokers: Police were called at 5:45 PM by a 33-year-old Stevens Point man who reported three men were hitting a pavilion at Pfiffner Park with sticks. No suspects are known at this time.

Nosy Neighbors: A 29-year-old Stevens Point man called police at 9:41 PM to report his 29-year-old female neighbor was recording him on the 1500 block of Torun Rd. Caller was advised to ignore woman.

June 24

Underage: A 20-year-old Stevens Point woman was cited for underage drinking during a traffic stop at 2:26 AM at the intersection of Clark St. and Strongs Ave.

Theft: Police were called at 5:38 AM by a 35-year-old Stevens Point man who reported $400 dollars in cash had been stolen from his vehicle on the 400 block of Fourth Ave.

Gas’n’Go: A clerk from the North Side BP in Stevens Point called police at 1:54 PM to report about $20 worth of gas had been stolen by an unknown suspect.

Crash: A 76-year-old Stevens Point woman was cited for failing to yield the right of way following a two vehicle crash with a 53-year-old Plover man at the intersection of Second St. and Fifth Ave. at 4:56 PM.

Pizza Prank: Police were called by a 27-year-old Stevens Point man who reported he’d been delivered pizzas he didn’t order on 3000 block of Church St. at 8:37 PM.

Text Harassment: A 22-year-old Plover woman and 27-year-old Stevens Point man called police at 11:51 PM to report receiving harassing text messages from a 34-year-old Stevens Point man.

June 25

Picnic Table Caper: A 52-year-old Stevens Point man called police at 1:00 AM to report a picnic table had been stolen by an unknown suspect from his home on the 1500 block of Brawley St.

Crash: Police responded to a one-vehicle crash at the intersection of North Point Dr. and Michigan Ave. N in Stevens Point where they cited the driver, a 20-year-old Wausau man, with failure to keep his vehicle under control at 7:26 AM.

Theft: A 30-year-old Stevens Point woman called police at 8:13 AM after discovering $7 had been stolen from her car on the 500 block of Union St. No suspect is known at this time.
