June 30

Bond Arrest: Police arrested a 24-year-old Plover man for operating with a suspended license and bail jumping at the intersection of Plover St. and Ellis St. at 12:02 AM.

Car Keyed: Police were called at 2:00 AM by a 22-year-old Stevens Point man who reported his car had been keyed the length of the vehicle on the 1100 block of Centerpoint Dr. Suspect is a 22-year-old Stevens Point woman.

Speedy Citation Delivery: A 43-year-old Stevens Point woman was cited for speeding, operating with a revoked license and without insurance at 6:40 AM on Green Ave. N and Kennedy Dr.

Threats: A 39-year-old Stevens Point woman called police at 8:29 AM to report being threatened by a 53-year-old Custer man and 54-year-old Custer woman. No details given on resolution or context of threats.

Sleepy Suspect: After finding a domestic suspect asleep in his car at 9:38 AM on the 2800 block of Minnesota Ave, the suspect attempted to flee police before being stopped, arrested for probation violation and bail jumping and then cited for fleeing police, operating with a revoked license and his second OWI.

Crash: A 30-year-old Green Bay man was cited for inattentive driving after a two-vehicle crash with a 31-year-old Custer woman on Main St. and Frontenac Ave. at 3:53 PM.

Car Caper: Police were called by a 62-year-old Plover woman who reported someone had moved her vehicle to another parking lot and changed the license plate without her permission on the 1400 block of Torun Rd. at 4:00 PM.

Insuring A Ticket: A 20-year-old Stevens Point man was cited for operating a motor vehicle without insurance after hitting a deer on Hwy. 66 near Stony Rd. at 5:39 PM.

Firework Fatigue: Police were called at 9:00 PM by a 70-year-old Stevens Point man who reported an unknown suspect had shot fireworks at his home and damaged the siding on the 2300 block of Elk St.

July 1

Scent Stolen: A 44-year-old Stevens Point man called police at 12:00 AM to report an unknown suspect had stolen a bottle of cologne from his vehicle on the 300 block of Walker St.

Hammer Time: Police were called by a 22-year-old Wausau woman who reported an unknown suspect had damaged her vehicles windshield with a hammer at 2:00 AM on the 1200 block of Franklin St.

OWI: A 25-year-old Stevens Point man was arrested for his second OWI at 3:17 AM following a traffic stop on Division St. and Dixon St. Suspect was also cited for failing to obey a traffic signal.

Domestic Disturbance: After police responded to a disturbance on the 3800 block of Robert Place, a 37-year-old Stevens Point man was arrested for battery, criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct at 3:46 AM.

Crash: An 18-year-old Amherst man was cited for inattentive driving following a two-vehicle crash with a 38-year-old Iola man on the 5600 block of Hwy. 10 in Stevens Point at 11:40 AM.

Multiple Mailbox Fatalities: Police were called at 12:43 PM with reports that two mailboxes and a planter had been damaged by an unknown erratic driver on the 3200 block of Michigan Ave.

Tobacco Taker: A 27-year-old Stevens Point woman was cited for theft after stealing $86.45 of American Spirit Turquoise cigarettes from The Store gas station on West Clark St. at 1:13 PM.

Hit-And-Run: After a witness reported a 55-year-old Stevens Point man strike a parked vehicle and quickly drive off, the suspect was found and arrested for his sixth OWI and cited for hit-and-run of an unattended vehicle.

July 2

Underage: A 19-year-old Rosholt woman was cited for underage drinking following a traffic stop on Fourth Ave. and Isadore St. in Stevens Point at 1:52 AM.

Purse Pilfered: Police were called at 3:03 PM after a 19-year-old Stevens Point woman discovered her purse had been stolen from her vehicle on the 2900 block of Dixon St. No suspect is known.

Domestic Abuse: Police arrested a 25-year-old Stevens Point man for battery and domestic abuse after responding to a disturbance on the 2600 block of Dixon St. and finding a female victim with a sprained wrist.

Crash: A 20-year-old Stevens Point woman was cited for failing to yield while making a left turn after a two-vehicle crash with a 31-year-old man on Division St. and Fourth Ave. at 8:54 PM.
