July 7
Stalker: A 28-year-old Plover man was arrested for disorderly conduct at 10:26 AM after reports of his stalking a 23-year-old Stevens Point woman by showing up at her place of employment, at her home and texting and calling after being asked to stop.
Crash: Police responded to the junction of Hwy. 10 and I39 after crash between two vehicles driven by a 21-year-old Custer woman and 37-year-old White Lake woman.
Firefight: Emergency services responded to a house fire on the 500 block of Second St. N. after being called by a 46-year-old Stevens Point woman at 7:18 PM.
July 8
Unknown Outsider: Police were called at 12:44 AM by a 34-year-old Stevens Point woman who reported an unknown man was outside her home on the 2000 block of Dixon St. No suspect is known.
Assault Arrest: A 33-year-old Plover man was arrested for disorderly conduct, strangulation and suffocation and probation violation after reportedly assaulting a 29-year-old woman at 1:40 AM on the 3400 block of Church St. in Stevens Point.
Suspicious Sleeper: Police responded to Lower Whiting Park in Stevens Point at 1:52 AM after receiving calls about a suspicious vehicle parked there. A 30-year-old Tomahawk man was found sleeping in the vehicle and advised to remove the truck and sleep elsewhere.
Domestic Disturbance: A 23-year-old Stevens Point man was arrested for disorderly conduct and domestic abuse after police responded to the 400 block of Michigan Ave after reports of a domestic disturbance between the suspect and a 23-year-old woman at 10:22 AM.
Possible Overdose: Police were called at 12:00 PM by St. Michael’s hospital with reports that an emergency room patient may be overdosing. No suspect was reported.
Coyote Catcher: Deputies investigated a suspicious vehicle at the intersection of Coolidge Ave. and Birch Dr. in Plover at 4:31 PM. The vehicle’s driver reported he was watching for grouse and coyotes for a local farmer.
Crash: A 20-year-old Fitchburg man was cited with failing to yield the right-of-way after a crashing his vehicle at the intersection of Water and Park St. at 5:29 PM.
No Badge For You: The Stevens Point Department of Parks and Recreation called police at 11 PM to report an unknown suspect had broken into the Girl Scout Lodge at Iverson Park and damaged window screens, light bulbs and fixtures.

Credit Card Caper: A 31-year-old Plover woman called police at 12:48 AM to report her credit card had been stolen at Guu’s on Main by an unknown suspect.
Assault: Officer responded to a call by a 35-year-old Stevens Point man who reported an assault on the 700 block of Sixth Ave. in Stevens Point at 1:00 AM. No suspect is known.
