Loretta L. Fisher, age 90, of Stevens Point, died Wednesday July 19, 2017 at Ministry St. Clare’s Hospital in Weston, WI.

She was born Nov. 9, 1926 in the Town of Dewey, WI. She is the daughter of the late Frank & Regina (Petta) Simcakoski. Her marriage to Thomas Fisher took place on Oct. 18, 1947 at St. Casimir Catholic Church. Thomas died on March 17, 1997.

Loretta was employed for 18 years at Spurgeons clothing store and most recently at the East side Copps Deli. She was a member of the St. Peter Rosary Society Rose #17 and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed listening to Polka music, word search puzzles and watching game shows on TV.

Survivors include two daughters: Darlene (Gary Kupp) Schroda of Amherst and Kathleen Kraklow of Stevens Point; one son: Richard (Denise) Fisher of Nelsonville; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and one brother: Phillip (Pat) Simcakoski of Kellner.

Preceded in death by two brothers: Edward and Bernard; three sisters: Maymie Zielinski, Grace Shemanski and Eleanor Lasinski; and one great-granddaughter: Crystal Rose.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 AM on Monday July 24, 2017 at St. Peter Catholic Church.

Burial will take place in the Guardian Angel cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the time of services on Monday morning in the St. Faustina room at St. Peter Church. A rosary will be prayed at 9:15 AM Monday.
