Loretta L. Fisher, 90, Stevens Point, died Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at Ministry St. Clare’s Hospital in Weston.

She was born Nov. 9, 1926, in the town of Dewey, a daughter of the late Frank and Regina (Petta) Simcakoski.

Her marriage to Thomas Fisher took place Oct. 18, 1947, at St. Casimir Catholic Church. He died March 17, 1997.

She was employed for 18 years at Spurgeons clothing store and most recently at the East side Copps Deli. She was a member of the St. Peter Rosary Society Rose No. 17 and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed listening to polka music, word search puzzles and watching game shows on TV.

Survivors include two daughters, Darlene (Gary Kupp) Schroda, Amherst, and Kathleen Kraklow, Stevens Point; one son, Richard (Denise) Fisher, Nelsonville; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Phillip (Pat) Simcakoski, Kellner.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and Bernard; three sisters, Maymie Zielinski, Grace Shemanski and Eleanor Lasinski; and one great-granddaughter, Crystal Rose.

Funeral Mass was held Monday, July 24, 2017, at St. Peter Catholic Church. Burial took place in the Guardian Angel cemetery.
