SPPD: Serial Tire Slasher Strikes Residential Neighborhood

Stevens Point police are on the lookout for whoever is responsible for damaging the tires on at least 20 vehicles Friday morning.
All the vehicle were parked in driveways or on the street in alleys adjacent to the 2100-2300 blocks of Illinois Ave., Michigan Ave. and Fremont Street.
The tires were punctured with an unknown object, according to Assistant Police Chief Mike Rottier, sometime in the early morning hours of July 21.
“We are asking for the public’s help to identify any witnesses and those involved,” Rottier said.
