Joshua John Polcyn, 35, Milwaukee, who has relatives living in the Custer area, died early Sunday morning, July 23, 2017.

He was born April 15, 1982, in Milwaukee, a son of Julie Gliszinski of West Allis and Christopher Polcyn, Crystal Lake, Ill.

Josh enjoyed football, especially the Green Bay Packers, baseball, fishing, golf and collecting sports memorabilia.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Josh’s name will be established at a later date.

He is survived by his mother, Julie Gliszinski, and his father Christopher (Veronica) Polcyn; brothers, Waylon and Trevor; sister, Lillian; aunts and uncles, Cindy Gliszinski, Paul (Gerry) Gliszinski, Candy (Wally) Wiza, Sandy (Tommy) Wiza, Kenny (Carol) Gliszinski, Mary (Fernando) Gliszinski, Tim (Debbie) Polcyn, Maureen Polcyn, Katie (Ted) Patterson and Jeremy (Tina) Polcyn.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leonard and Lillian Gliszinski and Thomas and Patricia Polcyn; an aunt, Jill Gliszinski; and uncles, Leonard Gliszinski, Jr. and Russell Gliszinski.

Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 28, 2017, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Polonia. Burial will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Family and friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. Friday morning at Sacred Heart Church until the time of Mass. There will be a parish rosary at 10 a.m. Friday morning at the church.
