July 21

Nighttime Noshers: Police were called at 12:19 AM by a Perkins employee who reported a regularly problematic family was at the restaurant. The reported customers were gone when police arrived.

Tent Taker: A 31-year-old Stevens Point woman called police at 8:35 AM to report a tent valued at $200 was stolen from her home on the 2300 block of Dixon St.

Mailbox Fatality: A 23-year-old Stevens Point woman reported her mailbox had been damaged at her home on Franklin St. at 10:31 AM.

Sign O’ The Times: A stop sign at the intersection of Wood St. and Park St. in Stevens Point was discovered damaged at 10:50 AM.

Crash: Police cited a 64-year-old Mosinee woman with failure to yield while making a left turn and operating without insurance after a two-vehicle crash with an 18-year-old Plover man 3:15 PM on the I39 and Cty. Rd. HH junction.

July 22

Grand Theft Tricycle: Police were called at 9:02 by a 31-year-old Stevens Point woman who reported two tricycles and a bicycle were stolen from her shed on the 2700 block of Indiana Ave. Suspects are a 5- and 6-year-old boy. Stolen items were found and returned.

Crash: After crashing his vehicle on Main St. and Green Ave. at 12:25 PM, a 28-year-old Stevens Point woman was cited for operating with a revoked license and failure to install an ignition interlock device.

Crash: Police responded to a two-vehicle crash between a 21-year-old Stevens Point man and 23-year-old Oconomowoc woman at 1:22 PM on Michigan Ave. and Ellis St. The woman was cited with failing to yield the right of way at a stop sign.

Bail Jumper: An 18-year-old Amherst man was arrested for bail jumping and cited for operating without a license after being stopped by police at 3:26 PM on Green Ave N and Stanley St.

July 23

Theft: A 33-year-old Stevens Point man was cited for operating without a license and theft after attempting to steal $140 worth of cigarettes from the Maria Dr. Kwik Trip store at 3:36 AM.

Crash: A 55-year-old Stevens Point man was cited for inattentive driving after crashing with a 35-year-old Iola woman at 12:06 PM at the intersection of I39 and Hwy. 10.

Bike Theft: A black and silver Trek 7100 bicycle valued at $443was reported stolen from the 1400 block of Rogers St. in Stevens Point at 2:00 PM. No suspect is known.

Got Ya: A 31-year-old Stevens Point man was arrested on an outstanding warrant after being stopped by police for driving without a license plate on Clark St. The man was also cited for possession of drug paraphernalia as police report seizing a metal grinder, a pipe for smoking marijuana and a crack pipe.
