July 25

Spooky Sights: A group of four Wausau-area men were questioned by police at 2:29 AM after reports of a disturbance near Fremont and Clark streets. Police report there was no physical altercation and the men were “fooling around” while trying to find a haunted bridge in the area.

No License to Drive: Police sited a 68-year-old Stevens Point man with driving with a revoked license after stopping his vehicle on River View Dr. and Hwy. 66 at 8:53 AM.

Smack Stop: A 40-year-old Wausau man was arrested for possession of heroin, resisting or obstructing an officer and possession of drug paraphernalia at 11:31 AM on Division and Portage streets in Stevens Point.

Crash: A 37-year-old Stevens Point woman was cited with inattentive driving after a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Hwy. 10 and Treder Ave. at 1:01 PM.

Warrant Arrest: An 18-year-old Stevens Point man was arrested on an outstanding warrant and for possession of THC after police stopped his vehicle on Bush St. and Indiana Ave. at 3:39 PM.

Possession: Police arrested an 18-year-old Stevens Point man after a K-9 unit discovered THC in his vehicle during a traffic stop on Soo Marie Ave. and Rice St. at 11:03 PM.

July 26

Trafficker: Police arrested a 33-year-old Stevens Point man for possession with intent to sell THC, maintaining a drug trafficking place and possession of drug paraphernalia after investigation his home on the 1900 block of Water St. at 5:09 AM.

Crash: Police responded to a two-vehicle crash between a 55-year-old Rudolph man and 64-year-old Stevens Point woman at the intersection of Fremont and Stanley streets at 10:14 AM.

Scammer: A 51-year-old Stevens Point man called police at 11:38 AM to report attempted fraud by a 27-year-old Wisconsin Rapids woman.

Adolescent Angst: Police report a 17-year-old Milladore girl hit a police officer during an investigation at 3:30 PM on Patch St. and Cleveland Ave. No charges or citations were immediately reported.

July 27

Possession: A 39-year-old New London man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after a K-9 unit discovered a glass pipe in his vehicle during a traffic stop on Jack’s Dr. in Plover at 1:27 AM.

Hit-and-Run: A 21-year-old Stevens Point man was cited for OWI, hit-and-run, failure to stop at a stop sign and failure to notify police of an accident after hitting the vehicle of a 31-year-old Stevens Point woman at 3:20 AM on the 600 block of Second St. North.

Battery: A 20-year-old Stevens Point woman was arrested for battery, battery to an unborn child and domestic abuse after police responded to a disturbance on the 600 block of Johns Dr. at 8:40 AM.

Bail Jumper: A 38-year-old Stevens Point woman was arrested for misdemeanor bail jumping at 4:12 PM on the 3200 block of Echo Dells Ave. after she was reported for violating her bond conditions.
