VIDEO: SPPD Hires New Officer

The Stevens Point Police and Fire Commission have approved hiring a new police officer.
Stevens Point native Daniel Lindstorm was granted a conditional offer of employment, pending psychological and medical exams.
Lindstorm, 26, attended college at Lake Superior State University in Michigan, and participates in continuing education online with Colorado Tech.
His start date is scheduled for Aug 21.
