Barbara A. Prondzinski, 70, Stevens Point, died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2017, at Whispering Pines in Plover.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. at Shuda Funeral Chapel in Stevens Point on Monday, Aug. 14, from 3 to 6 p.m.. A Rosary will be prayed for Barbara at 6 p.m. Monday night after the visitation at the Shuda Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established in her name at a later date.

Mrs. Prondzinski was born April 24, 1947, in Stevens Point, the daughter of Chester and Martha (Kresh) Shulfer. She graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School.

She was married to Thomas Prondzinski in 1967 in Stevens Point; the couple later divorced. She worked at Walmart for 21 years as a photo lab technician retiring in 2014.

She enjoyed camping, bowling and gardening and was an avid collector of angels. She loved spending with family and friends, especially all of her grandchildren.

Mrs. Prondzinski is survived by two daughters; Lisa (Bart) Woyak and Julie (Travis) Hojnacki, both of Plover; four granddaughters, Lindsey and Lauren Woyak and Hannah and Hailey Hojnacki; her mother, Martha Shulfer, Stevens Point; one brother, Robert (Linda) Schulfer, Richfield; and two sisters, Dee Firkus and Pat Deppe, both of Stevens Point.

She was preceded in death by her father, Chester Shulfer; one brother, Thomas Shulfer; and one sister, Kathleen Zurawski. She is also preceded in death by special friend, Patrick Pezewski.

The family would like to thank the staffs of House of the Dove, Whispering Pines and Ministry Hospice for the care and compassion they showed Mrs. Prondzinski and her family.
