School Board Committee Seeks Citizen Member

The Stevens Point Area Public School District is now accepting applications to fill a vacancy on its Policy and Legislation Committee.
Any resident of the district who is 18 years or older can apply to become a citizen committee member. The Policy and Legislation Committee, a standing committee to the full School Board, helps decide rules and guidelines for the district and typically meets monthly.
Applications are available at Bliss Educations Services Center, 1900 Polk St., or online at www.pointschools.net. Applications are due by 4 PM on Thursday, Aug. 30.
