American Legion Brat Fry to Benefit Veteran Camp

Plover American Legion Post 543 and Auxiliary will hold a brat fry/bake sale fundraiser on Saturday, Aug. 26.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will support Camp American Legion, local area veterans’ needs and various school, community and civic projects.
Camp American Legion, located on the shores of Big Carr Lake, is a Northwoods summer retreat that provides a week of rest, relaxation and recuperation at no charge for more than 500 wounded and disabled Wisconsin Veterans each summer.
Donations of coffee, liquid hand soap, liquid laundry soap, paper towels, dinner napkins and Walmart gift cards will also be collected for the camp.
The fundraiser will be held from 9 AM to 5 PM at Walmart, 250 Crossroads Dr. in Plover.
