A former Plover doctor has been sentenced to prison for multiple counts of sexual assault.
Wilton Calderon, 47, was sentenced by Portage Co. Circuit Court Judge Robert Shannon to 80 months of initial confinement on Aug. 17 for two counts of third-degree sexual assault and one count of manufacturing/delivering a non-narcotic drug while working as a physician at the Plover Ministry Medical Group clinic.
He pleaded guilty to the charges in February.
Plover police began a lengthy investigation on Calderon after an anonymous tip, uncovering at least seven victims, all adult women, who accused Calderon of groping or rubbing himself against them during medical exams between 2011 and 2014. Calderon left the clinic in early 2015.
Calderon will also be required to serve 100 months on extended supervision.
