Jeffrey “Jeff” P. (Phillip) Pezewski, 56, Stevens Point, died Monday, Aug. 28, 2017, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born July 11, 1961, in Milwaukee, the son of Phillip and Joyce (Hintz) Pezewski, Stevens Point. He attended local grade schools, P.J. Jacobs Junior High and graduated from Stevens Point Area Senior High (SPASH) in 1980.

His marriage to Mary Woyak took place March 9, 1985, at St. Stephen Catholic Church, Stevens Point. After their marriage the couple settled in Stevens Point. She survives.

Mr. Pezewski was a truck driver for more than 35 years, most recently driving for Weather Shield for the past 25 years.

In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, pontoon boating and playing ball with his sons. He was an avid Packers fan and loved to plan his vacations a year in advance.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial in his name will be established at a later date.

Survivors include his wife Mary; five children, Amanda (James) Worzalla, Angela Pezewski, Jason Pezewski, Brian Pezewski and Scott Pezewski, all of Stevens Point; five grandchildren, Savannah, James, Gage, Aiden and Kaleb; parents, Phillip and Joyce Pezewski, Stevens Point; one brother, Mike (Kathy) Pezewski, Stevens Point; and two sisters, Tammy (Bernie) Devine, Stevens Point, and Barb (Gary) Landowski, St. Germaine.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 1, 2017, at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home, 2911 Plover Road, Plover. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until time of services Friday at the funeral home.
