Steven Joseph Myszkowski, 55, of Stevens Point died Aug. 28, 2017, from complications following a severe stroke.

Steve was born on May 24, 1962 to Bernard and Patricia (Winkie) Myszkowski. He grew up in Cicero, IL., where he lived until moving to Stevens Point in 2003.

Steve was extremely social and made friends with everyone he met. He enjoyed fishing, racing pigeons, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was lovingly referred to as “Baca” by all of the children in his life.

He is proceeded in death by his father, mother, sister (Cheryle) and grandson, Julian.

Steve is survived by his two daughters, Jennifer (Mark) Sondelski and Michelle (David) Myszkowski. Grandchildren, Laila, Danny, Libby, Cora and Natalie. His close nephew Kenny Myszkowski Jr., niece Cheryl (Kevin) Drewa and great neices Alexis, Madelyn and Isla. He is also survived by his brothers Bernie and Kenny (Frieda) Myszkowski, his sister Jeanine and multiple nephews, nieces and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday Sept. 1, 2017, at the Pisarski Funeral Home in Stevens Point, with Deacon Vern Linzmeier officiating. Burial will follow in the Guardian Angel Cemetery.
