Keith M. Rinka, age 58, of Stevens Point passed away Tuesday Aug. 29, 2017, surrounded by family after a long battle with cancer.

Friends and family will gather to share memories and celebrate Keith’s life Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017, from 3-7 p.m. at the Shuda Funeral Chapel – Stevens Point.

Keith was born May 8, 1958, the son of Kermit Rinka and Elaine (Liebe) Chapin. Keith grew up in Stevens Point where he attended local schools. After school, Keith worked in construction before working as a car man for Canadian National Rail Road. Keith married the love of his life Delores “Dee” Johnson on June 13, 1983. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, RC cars, riding his moped with friends, and spending time with his gran children.

Keith is survived by his wife Dee, son Jason (Val) Rinka, 2 daughters: April (Jason) Konkol and Ashley (Roy Jr.) Schultz. He is also survived by his sister Barb (Roger) Johnson, brother Kevin (Charlotte) Brackett, 8 grandchildren: Austin, Aidan, Karter, Brady, Madelynn. Autumn, Owen, and Parker, and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and infant brother Larry.
